Some activities that would be of benefit is the following. I know that there are some activities that are fast, and some that are beneficial. From what I can tell, you have to have a minimum of 52x respect to complete all missions and all strongholds.Ģ) While getting respect sounds tedious, it can still come with its advantages. I can see a few things that can help make this run possible.ġ) This game runs on a "respect system" where you have to perform activities, gang kills and car tricks to earn "respect" and when you get enough respect, you can partake in a mission. Anyway I still have some races to win, tags to tag, and CD's to find.Currently, I'm making arrangements for my next speed run attempt (besides Crackdown and Left 4 dead) for Saints row 2. If I had XBoxLive, i'd love to have some help. Once you get to level 4 or 5, the celeb your guarding gets so many people accosting them, it's impossible to win.
Right now the only activity I haven't done is "Crowd Control", but I have never managed to beat either location. It only took me three tries to beat this mission as opposed to the six it took for the last Barrio misssion. The last two missions do take place around the city so there is the good chance of smacking into a hotel or something while trying to line up a shot on the two or three cars trying to asplode your homies. The majority of the missions take place around the suburbs, so there are no tall building to smack into, but there are a lot more enemy choppers to deal with.
The second location, the trailer park, is a fair bit easier to get through. When I finally managed to beat the last mission, my chopper was smoking, my missle launchers had been scraped off by a building collision so I was down to shooting at cars with the choppers machine gun, and the van was at it's last pixels of health. And those last two missions are bitches to beat, since the van your protecting gets swarmed by baddies, loves to drive under freeways where you can't go, and plenty of the enemy cars are shooting at you as well. I would have to say the Barrio is the harder location since most of the action takes place in the city, with the last two missions taking place around the airport. There are two Heli-Assault locations in Stillwater, the Barrio districe, and the Trailer Park. Now imagine that handling while trying to fly through a city, targeting enemy cars trying to blow up the van your protecting, while the occasional enemy chopper flys in. Bloody helicopter drifts all over the place, and loses altitude just by moving forward. SR2 is fun as hell, but they must ahve imported their flight physics from GTA:San Andreas, because it's like your character downs a 40oz AND a blunt or two before taking off.
